On June 30th, 2015, in the hot summer, the
first Guangzhou chromatographic separation and analysis Training&
Communication Seminar was held in Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel, hosted by Guangzhou Lubex,
co-sponsored by Shiseido, Shodex and ******.
(in the seminar)
There were more than 130 experts in the
field of drug tests, immigration, pharmaceutical, food enterprises,
universities, scientific research and development units attending the seminar.

The general manager of Guangzhou Lubex Mr. Hong
talked about the rapid development of our company and we were expanding laboratory
equipment and other aspects of the business. Mr. Hong also announced that all
customers in the seminar would have great discounts.
(Lubex manager Mr. Hong addressed the assembly)
Shiseido Application Engineer Qian Yang introduced
the coated technology. She said that Shiseido column would show great
advantages because of shielding silicon hydroxyl, such as higher alkali resistance,
and she also showed us many examples about analyzing pharmacopoeia levofloxacin,
azithromycin, beta carotene, Kanggongyan tablets according to the 2010 and 2015
national standards. In addition, Miss Yang shared her experience about how to
choose the right chromatographic column, mobile phase and detector. And the two
new products of Shiseido once again aroused heated discussion, one is the NQAD
detector, which has ng detection sensitivity and could be applied widely, the
other is the ADME detector, which is suitable for high polarity compounds and
the isomers.

Application Engineer Qian Yang)
In the session, application engineer Jie Tang
introduced polymer amino column unique to Shodex, which can effectively solve
the problems including short service life and not compatible with with ELSD
detector in the analysis of sugar. According to the separation of substances
such as protein and polymers to SEC column, Mr. Tang also gave the solution:
first step is confirming the mobile phase (water / oil). You can use KW series
of chromatographic column in protein and peptide analyzing, use SB series in polysaccharide,
water-soluble polymer and biopolymer analyzing, and while in GPC, according to different
oil soluble by solvent you can choose different series such as KF (THF), KD
(DMF), K (chloroform). The second step is to determine the molecular weight range
of the sample, and you should make sure that the molecular weight of the sample
is within the limits of the arrangement of the columns. The third step is to
determine the number of columns in series, using series of different row resistance
limits can enhance the separation effect. All attendees benefited a lot.

In the latter part of the seminar, ******
Application Engineer Zilu Wang introduced the differences of solvent or reagent
grades at home and abroad. For ******’s solvent and reagent, in the
chromatographic instrument choose HPLC grade solvents, use Optima solvent in
pesticide / gas phase instrument, use LC-MS solvent in LC-MS/UPLC-MS instrument
and use nitric acid in AA, ICP, ICP-MS. Choose the suitable solvent reagent is as
important as choosing the chromatographic column.
Besides the training, there're many
chromatographic instruments and consumables showed off on both sides of conference
hall for attendees to visit or consult.

The first Guangzhou chromatographic
separation and analysis Training& Communication Seminarwas successfully completed.
Thanks to the support of Shiseido, Shodex, ******
and our customers. It is your support that makes Guangzhou Lubex rapid development.
Wish the best luck to the next Guangzhou chromatographic separation analysis
seminar. See you next time!
